Steve Mundt: VP of Business Development for EADS North America

Before joining EADS North America, Mundt was the Deputy Chief of Staff of Army HQ (G3), Director of Army Aviation, before retiring from a 30-plus year career in military service with the U.S. Army with the rank of Brigadier General.

With the military, Mundt’s posts included Deputy Director of Force Developments (FD) for the Deputy Chief of Staff (G8); Assistant Division Commander (Support) for the 1st Infantry Division, United States Army Europe and Seventh Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom; Commander of the 17th Aviation Brigade, in Korea; and Aviation Division Chief and Director of Materiel for the Deputy Chief of Staff (G8).

Mundt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado. He also holds an MBA in Personnel Management and Administration from Troy State University in Alabama, and an M.S. in National Security Strategies from National Defense University.
