Spotlight on Aneesh Chopra

The first-appointed Chief Technology Officer under the Obama Administration, Aneesh Chopra, spoke with the Richmond Times Dispatch this week about where technology in America is headed. Aneesh Chopra also announced that he will be launching a personal blog to further President’s Obama’s commitment to government transparency. The White House Technology Office is apart of a larger White House commitment to openess that can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/open. In the interview, Chopra acknowledged that the private sector is increasingly going digital and therefore the public sector and more specifically the White House, must follow.
