Vivisimo Names New Leadership
The Pittsburg based technology company, Vivisimo has named new leadership: John Kealey, who currently serves on Vivisimo’s board, was named CEO, Raul Valdes-Perez is moving from CEO to executive chairman, and Kevin Calderwood, founder and managing partner of AMP Capital Partners, was named president. Phil Carrai, an executive vice president at Kratos Defense Inc, was added to the board of directors.
Kealey and Calderwood both previously worked at iDirect Technologies before it was purchased by Singapore Technologies. Kealey served as the president and CEO and Calderwood was the Board Chairman.
In statement announcing the changes, Valdes-Perez wrote “I am looking forward to working closely with John, Kevin and Phil and the rest of the Vivisimo team, as we work together to fulfill our ambition of making enterprise search as ubiquitous in the workplace as web search is in the home.”
Vivisimo is a private company known for its search engine technology embedded in client’s sites, such as usa.gov and its own search site, clusty.com
