Executive Profile: Lawrence Prior of ManTech

Lawrence Prior was named president and chief operating officer of ManTech and was elected director of the company in June 2009. He resigned from his position July 19, 2010.

Before his roles at ManTech, Prior served in several executive positions at SAIC, Inc., including chief operating officer, president of SAIC’s Intelligence, Security & Technology Group; and senior vice president of federal systems/

Before joining SAIC, Prior held the position of chief financial officer and then president and chief executive officer of LightPointe Communications, Inc. He was also previously chief administrative officer for the County of San Diego and an executive at TRW.

Prior has previously served as a professional staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and was an intelligence officer in the Marine Corps for more than a decade.
