Microsoft Hosting “CIO Summit” in WA

Microsoft is hosting a “CIO Summit” at their conference center in Redmond, WA, attended by more than 300 CIOs from the fields of government and education.  Also attending are Microsoft executives and other members from partner organizations.

The event gives Microsoft and its partners the chance to discuss and showcase new technologies and preview upcoming government and education solutions.

A wide variety of topics are set to be presented and discussed.  These include “The Transformation of Public Sector,” with Curt Kolcun, vice president of the Microsoft U.S. Public Sector and “The New Conversation,” with Robert Youngjohns, president of Microsoft North America.

Also on the agenda will be “Virtualization and the Windows Azure Platform,” with Bob Muglia, president of the Server and Tools Business at Microsoft and “Cloud Computing Solutions,” with Ron Markezich, corporate vice president of Microsoft Online.
