Executive Profile: Bob Mutchler of Serco Inc.

Bob Mutchler is senior vice president of corporate development at Serco Inc. He is responsible for identifying opportunities for growth in existing and new industry sectors, pursuing mergers, acquisitions and industry partnerships, and directing the company’s strategic planning.

Mutchler’s business-development background spans over 20 years in the defense and IT industries. He has worked in all facets of operations for companies, including CGI-AMS (formerly American Management Systems), Computer Sciences Corporation, DynCorp, GRC International, Harris Corporation and L-3 Titan Corporation.

Mutchler has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in computer science, both from the University of Virginia.
