Executive Profile: Joel S. Brunson of TANDBERG

Joel S. Brunson is president of the Americas public sector at TANDBERG. In that capacity, he is responsible for the distribution model for delivery of TANDBERG solutions, full profit and loss ownership and the establishment of new alliances.

Brunson joined the company in 2006 as president of TANDBERG federal, where he focused on optimizing distribution channels while delivering TANDBERG video solutions to the U.S. government. Prior to TANDBERG, Brunson was vice president of federal for Avaya and held various management roles in public sector sales, field finance and operations at Storage Technology Corporation.

He is an active member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association.

Brunson earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and chemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and an MBA in finance from Loyola College.
