Executive Profile: Ron Lewis of Serco Inc.

Ron Lewis is senior vice president, chief technology officer at Serco Inc. He is responsible for technology strategy, including strategic planning, client system-integration consulting and applications development. He most recently managed several IT-centered contracts, including contracts with the Department of Defense, civilian federal agencies, state and local governments and commercial clients.

Prior to joining Serco in 1999, he was a principal with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. responsible for IT business focused on document imaging, distance learning, financial management and interactive electronic technical manuals. Previously, he was vice president of technology with Epcom Corporation and manager of design services with Tandem Computers, Inc.

Lewis holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Boston University and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Columbia University. He also has completed coursework for a doctorate degree in systems engineering at Boston University.
