Executive Profile: Carl Salzano of Booz Allen Hamilton

Carl Salzano
Carl Salzano is senior vice president of acquisition services for Booz Allen Hamilton. In this position, Salzano is responsible for overseeing the division’s contract management, strategic sourcing, business development and risk management.
He also serves on several of the firm’s governance bodies including the Ethics and Compliance Committee, Finance Operations Committee, Executive Development Committee and the Quality Committee.
Prior to joining Booz Allen Hamilton in 1986, Salzano was employed with Bendix Aerospace and Advanced Technology. Before this, he was on a tour with the United States Navy.
Salzano also serves on the board of visitors to the Defense Acquisition University, the board of advisers to the National Contract Management Association and the board of directors of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. He is a member of the Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children.
Salzano earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland. He earned his master’s degree in business with a concentration in finance from Johns Hopkins University.
