Executive Profile: Craig Reed of DynCorp

Craig Reed
Craig Reed is senior vice president of strategy and corporate development for DynCorp International. He oversees market intelligence, strategic initiatives and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining DynCorp in December 2008, Reed served in various management roles for Northrop Grumman. He was vice president of business development and strategy for the Corporate Cyber Campaign. Prior, he was vice president of strategy and planning for the intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance systems division.
Before this, Reed was presidential appointee to the Department of Energy as senior policy adviser in the Office of the Secretary. He was also chairman of the department’s Counterterrorism/Homeland Security Council and a representative to the White House National Space Policy Coordinating Council.
Reed earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the State University of New York at Albany and his master’s degree degree in international security policy and international business from Columbia University. He went on to earn his Ph.D in Public Policy with a concentration in national security studies from The George Washington University.
