Hughes’ Rick Lober to Speak at MILSATCOM Symposium in Los Angeles

Rick Lober, vice president and general manager of the defense and intelligence systems division at Hughes Network Systems, will speak at the MILSATCOM Symposium in Los Angeles on Oct. 27.
Lober will participate on an “Industry Perspective” panel comprised of military and industry leaders, and discuss availability and benefits of commercial satellite communications for the military.
The company said Lober will provide insights into how the commercial satellite industry can help meet the needs of the military in the current austere budget environment by utilizing. The full symposium will take place between Oct. 25-27 at Los Angeles Air Force Base.
