Profile: Mitchell Rambler, President of DRS Technical Services

Dr. Mitchell Rambler, DRS

Dr. Mitchell Rambler is president of DRS Defense Solutions‘ technical services business unit, where he oversees global and tactical communications, network solutions and security services for Defense Department customers.

Rambler joined DRS in 2005 from BAE Systems where he served as senior vice president for military operations.

In total, the former NASA and intelligence community official has more than 25 years of private sector experience managing advanced technology and complex systems integration.

Prior to joining BAE, Rambler held a variety of executive positions, including president and CEO for Cyntergy Corp.

Other executive posts included corporate executive vice president and sector president at Mantech International Corp., senior vice president for corporate and strategic development for The Centech Group, chief operating officer for Universal Systems and Technology and international sales director for Perot Systems.

Rambler holds a doctorate and master’s degree in space science from Boston University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University
