Carahsoft to Host Govt. Big Data Forum March 6

Carahsoft Technology Corp. will host the second annual Government Big Data Forum March 6 in Washington, Carahsoft announced Thursday.

The forum will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.

Attendees from both the public and private sectors will discuss trends, issues and implementation of big data analysis.

VMware, SAP, MarkLogic and other companies will provide a series of informal presentations regarding big data solutions.

Key speakers include:

• Gus Hunt, CIA chief technology officer
• Dr. Amr Awadallah, founder and CTO of Cloudera
• John Marshall, CTO for the Joint Staff‘s intelligence directorate

Bob Gourley, founder of CTOlabs.com and former CIO of the Defense Intelligence Agency, will moderate the event.
