Luke Abaffy writes employees who submitted the top three entries for the program, launched last year, were each given $10,000.
Winning employees were Matthew Emma, Terriann Nohilly and Paul Huntley.
Emma’s idea was to use WordPress for the $1 billion Madison Square Garden renovation project with the goal of going paperless.
Nohilly developed a new document management system called TurnerLinked and Huntley implemented a new safety protocol intended to help avoid on-site injuries.
ENR reports that 100 employees entered the innovation contest.
