Lockheed Gets Recognition From Carbon Disclosure Project; Carol Cala Comments

Lockheed-Martin-BlueThe Carbon Disclosure Project has acknowledged Lockheed Martin for its efforts to measure and disclose information on the potential impact of its operations on climate change.

Lockheed said Wednesday it has achieved the 90th percentile CDP scores for climate change transparency efforts for five years in a row.

“We’re pleased that CDP has once again recognized our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint,” said Carol Cala, vice president of energy, environment, safety and health at Lockheed Martin.

The company also got an “A-” ranking for its emissions reduction work, 100/100 score for disclosure in its 2015 CDP Climate Change report and a “B” ranking for water management.

CDP is a nongovernmental organization that manages a collection of climate change, forest and water risk information provided by companies through self-reporting.
