Parsons has presented a battlefield cross replica statue to the Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial in Alabama.

Parsons donated the bronze replica statue during a ceremony held on Veterans Day at the memorial park, the company said Thursday.

“Parsons welcomes this opportunity to honor those who have fallen in battle while serving our country,” said Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president.

“We hope that this statue will serve as a permanent reminder of their service and their sacrifice.”

Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Madison County Commission Chair Dale Strong were in attendance at the ceremony.
