Randy Guard and Fritz Lehman have been respectively appointed chief marketing officer and chief customer officer at data analytics company SAS.
Guard, formerly vice president of products, marketing and enablement at SAS, will oversee SAS’ strategic goals for the company’s software and services, SAS said Wednesday.
Lehman, who most recently served as senior VP of customer engagement and support at SAS, will retain his responsibility in the company’s global professional services, technical support, education and documentation divisions.
“[Guard and Lehman’s] leadership and experience are valuable assets to my executive team, and will be integral in helping me lead the company and serve our customers,” SAS CEO Jim Goodnight said.
Guard previously held consulting positions at Andersen Consulting, now known as Accenture.
