Leidos SVP Robert Zitz to Keynote at Atlantic Council’s Cyber Student Competition

Robert Zitz, a senior vice president and strategic account executive at Leidos, will deliver a keynote address and serve as a judge at the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Student Challenge  that will take place Friday and Saturday in Washington.

Zits will discuss the potential impact of cybersecurity threats on U.S. critical infrastructure during his speech, Leidos said Thursday.

The Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative created the competition to promote cyber education, knowledge and interest among college students across country.

Forty teams from 25 colleges and universities nationwide will compete at the event this year.

The contest is also meant to help participants understand the cyber policymaking process, strategies and actors, according to Leidos.

Zitz is a three-decade intelligence community veteran who previously held leadership roles within the Department of Homeland Security, Secret ServiceNational Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, Central Intelligence Agency and Military Intelligence Corps.
