Exabeam Names DoD, DOE, AF Cyber Vets to Federal Advisory Board; Robert Lentz Comments

ExabeamExabeam, a security intelligence platforms provider, has created a federal advisory board in an effort to help federal and state government agencies detect and respond to cyber threats.

The company said Monday the board will consist of Robert Lentz, president of Cyber Security Strategies and former chief information security officer at the Defense Department; and Pete Tseronis, Dots and Bridges CEO and former Energy Department chief technology officer.

John Maluda, a retired major general who previously served as chief information officer and director of cyberspace transformation and strategy at the office of the Air Force secretary, will also join Lentz and Tseronis on Exabeam’s federal advisory board.

“Since most organizations can no longer rely on a secure network perimeter, they must detect threats that build within the network itself,” said Lentz.

San Mateo, California-based Exabeam develops security intelligence and entity and user behavior analytics tools that work to help security professionals detect and respond to network vulnerabilities through analysis of logs and endpoint data.
