SPARC is an Agile Systems Delivery Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton, located in Charleston, SC.

Elizabeth Buske, a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton has been selected to succeed Marc Murphy at the Charleston, South Carolina-based software development firm, The Post and Courier reported Wedneday.

Thad Moore writes Murphy, who also serves as vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, has stepped down to join manufacturing conglomerate SixAxisAtlatl Software subsidiary as CEO in August.

Murphy joined SPARC in 2013 as CEO and helped facilitate the acquisition of SPARC’s software development services unit by Booz Allen in November.

Gary Labovich, executive VP for systems delivery at Booz Allen, said Buske will be responsible for SPARC’s expansion as the firm oversees contracts with Booz Allen and relocates to a new office by fall of 2016, Moore reports.

Buske joined SPARC in 2009 after a year as project director at WareOnEarth Communications.

She spent nearly five years as carrier manager at Benefitfocus.com and two years as data analyst at Telemet America.
