International Data Corp. has named Hewlett Packard Enterprise‘s U.S. public sector business as a “major player” on the IDC MarketScape: U.S. Systems Integrators Serving the Federal Government 2016 Vendor Assessment study.

Cedric Harris, a communications professional at HPE, writes in a blog post published Friday the research assessed characteristics that support an integrator’s success in U.S. federal government service and focused on vision and capacities for systems integrations projects.

The study noted that HPE’s vision ranked among the highest rated companies analyzed and its client ratings have been given based on methodology, processes, training and assistance to government customers that transition into the cloud.

Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager of HPE’s U.S. public sector business, said the company has had a long lineage of partnerships with government clients to support the transformation of information technology environments.

IDC defined the focus of the study as a process that covers planning, design, implementation and project management of a technical product or service designed to help meet an agency’s specific technical or business need such as integration services, business or technical consulting.
