EDS, an HP Company, Names Jay Jones as Sales Leader for DoD Business

eds-logoEDS, an HP company, has announced the appointment of Jay Jones as sales leader for U.S. Department of Defense business, as well as the Navy/Naval Marine Corps Internet Sales Division.  In this post, Jones will develop and grow EDS’ position in defense agency contracting by pursuing new business opportunities and developing solutions that maximize business value for DoD clients.  He will lead a team dedicated to helping EDS’ government clients streamline business processes, increase cost-effectiveness, and expand capabilities.

Mr. Jones has over 20 years of executive experience and 15 years of business development and marketing experience in the consulting and services industry.  Since 2000, he served as Senior VP of the Public Services Global organization at BearingPoint, Inc. where he was responsible for public sector business domestically and internationally.  Before joining BearingPoint he was employed by OAO Corporation as VP of Enterprise Solutions and Worldwide Business Development.  In addition to his private sector experience, Jones imparts a wealth of military knowledge garnered during his 20 years of service in the US Army.
