Rick Marcotte, CEO of DLT Solutions is Everything Channel’s Executive of the Year

DLT Solutions, Inc., a value-added reseller of industry-leading information technology (IT) products and services, announced today that CEO Rick Marcotte has been named “Executive of the Year” by Everything Channel.

Marcotte received the award at the VAR500 awards gala in New York City, which brings together North America’s top IT solution providers. DLT Solutions was ranked 126 in the VAR500, a list of the leading revenue producers among technology integrators and technology solution providers in North America, based on gross worldwide revenue of hardware and software sales, and earnings from professional and managed IT services.

Rick Marcotte, president & CEO of DLT Solutions said of his nomination, “While being named Executive of the Year by such a respected organization is a huge honor and quite humbling, to me it is further validation of our business strategy and maniacal focus on execution.  It is really an award to be shared with our 200+ employees whose dedication and collective efforts since I joined the company in 2004 have resulted in stellar performance and broad industry respect.”

Apart from this award, DLT and its CEO have been named a finalist for Innovation and Social Responsibility of the Human Resource Leadership Award of Greater Washington, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and SmartCEO Magazine’s Circle of Excellence. Earlier this year DLT announced it had achieved its goal of more than a half-billion in revenue in 2008, a year ahead of schedule.
