NISC receives prestigious awards for work in North Dakota

This week, the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce and the Information Technology Council of North Dakota (ITCND) recognized National Information Solutions Cooperative® (NISC) with two awards. The awards, presented by the North Dakota industry associations, recognize NISC for developing new business technologies and for being a leader in the use of innovative technology to serve members and customers.

NISC president and CEO Vern Dosch received the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce Business Award, in recognition of his work in developing new business technologies, creating jobs, and bringing national attention to NISC and the state of North Dakota.

“Under Dosch’s leadership, NISC has grown to be a national industry leader, providing highly sophisticated enterprise IT solutionsused by top Fortune 100 and 500 companies,” said North Dakota Chamber board member Shannon McQuade-Ely.

The award cites Dosch for establishing new processes for product development, for implementing a company‐wide 
ethics program and for creating the Brian Wolf National IT Learning Center®, which allows both employees and 
members/customers to stay current on advancing technologies.

In a separate awards ceremony, NISC’s Utility Bill Pay operation received the ITCND’s Technology Innovator Award 
during the ninth annual North Dakota IT Awards program.

understanding, managing and controlling their utility costs. Customers are able to outsource the costly and time‐
