King serves as vice president of the health IT programs business unit at Northrop Grumman. Her responsibilities include developing a comprehensive health business strategy. She also is responsible for operational growth and program execution for the business unit.

King spent the last three years focusing on Northrop Grumman’s health IT programs business group as director of the healthcare systems management operating unit. Her clients included the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, Social Security Administration and Department of Veterans Affairs.

Prior to Northrop Grumman, King was at CGI-AMS where her last role was as vice president for federal healthcare. She was responsible for the management, development and execution of programs for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, and DoD Military Health as well as state Medicaid offerings. Prior to that, she was the responsibility center manager for the Human Services Agency Group.

Before joining AMS, King was a senior manager responsible for developing and managing various systems at the Department of State, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Department of Treasury, General Services Administration, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and Defense Logistics Agency. King started her career as an analyst/programmer developing systems as a contractor for the Department of Defense.

King is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has her MBA from George Washington University. She has been involved with several professional organizations including Women in Technology, Health Information and Management Systems Society, Industry Advisory Council, America’s Health Insurance Plans and the Association of Government Accountants
