ICF to Support DOE State Energy Program, EECBG

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI) has been awarded two new Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) by UT-Battelle, LLC, to support U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) State Energy Program (SEP) and Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) recipients.

The BOAs have an aggregate ceiling of $8.5 million and a term of 30 months.

According to ICF,  the firm will develop technical assistance networks to provide training, tools, resources, and expertise in support of SEP and EECBG grantees’ energy efficiency and other clean energy initiatives, and to assist grantees in using energy-savings performance contracting in the municipal, institutional, and health care sectors. Performance contracting can provide leverage for public funds by enabling private financing for energy efficiency and other clean energy projects.

“ICF International will support this work by applying its extensive expertise in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, and technical assistance fields to ensure that our client meets its goals,” said Phil Mihlmester, senior vice president for ICF International. “ICF has a long history of working with state, city, county, and tribal entities throughout the country on energy efficiency and other energy-related programs. We look forward to working with UT-Battelle in assisting DOE grant recipients.”
