Executive Profile: Bart Bailey of 3001

photo-bart_baileyBart Bailey is CEO for the geospatial data and analysis company, 3001. His experiences prior to becoming CEO prepared him for the responsibilities that his position at 3001 entails.

Before 3001, Bailey held a variety of operational, business development, and executive management positions in E-Systems, Raytheon, MRJ Technology Solutions, Veridian and General Dynamics. Most recent to his position at 3001, Bailey managed a $165 million business unit that provided services to the Defense, Intelligence, Federal, and Law Enforcement communities.

Previously, Bailey spent twenty years in the United States Army. He held many different jobs in his army career, his last being Congressional Liaison Officer with the Office of the Secretary.

Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy and master’s degree in Geodetic Science & Surveying from The Ohio State University.
