GTEC Lands US Army Contract

Global Defense Technology & Systems, Inc. has secured a $37 million contract to provide camp solutions to the U.S. Army in support of the military’s force modernization and mobility efforts.

GTEC will deliver Expeditionary Tricon Systems representing 18 Force Provider Modules, incorporating the latest advances in approved shower water re-use technology.

Based on the delivery schedule, GTEC expects to recognize more than $20 million of contract revenue in 2010 with the remainder received in 2011.

“As a mission partner for the U.S. military, GTEC is committed to supporting critical national security operations and providing unique solutions by delivering highly engineered systems that enhance the U.S. Army’s expeditionary capabilities,” said John Hillen, president and CEO.

All work will be performed at GTEC’s integration facilities in Easton and Frederick, Md.
