Pragmatics Names Max Hall, Stephen Hughes to Executive Management Team

Pragmatics today appointed Max Hall and Stephen Hughes to the company’s executive management team.

Hall has been named chief operating officer and Hughes chief financial officer. Both will report to Pragmatics Chief Executive Officer CEO Dr. Long Nguyen.

“As we position Pragmatics for continued corporate growth and significant expansion, we are taking steps to ensure that our executive team possesses the vision and expertise to advance our efforts,” Nguyen said. “These two leaders possess the proven ability to help us achieve our goal.”

As COO, Hall will leverage the company’s performance excellence and best practices to increase organic growth. Before joining Pragmatics, Hall spent 18 years at SRA International, serving in numerous leadership roles, most recently as senior vice president of the Health & Civil Services Sector.

As CFO, Hughes will be responsible for the company’s financial operations. He will oversee tax functions, play a key role in corporate acquisitions, and be instrumental in the company’s preparation for a future initial public offering. Hughes previously spent 28 years at SRA, in roles such as accounting manager, controller, vice president, senior vice president of finance, and executive vice president operations and CFO.
