Raytheon Appoints John Bergeron to Lead Six Sigma, Corporate Mission Assurance

Raytheon Company has appointed John P. Bergeron as director, Raytheon Six Sigma, corporate mission assurance, a new role in which he will report to Dr. James W. Wade.

“John is a strong leader with a proven track record of implementing improvements that achieve business objectives both within and outside Raytheon,” said Mark E. Russell, who leads the engineering, technology and mission assurance organization.

Bergeron will be responsible for transforming and revitalizing Raytheon’s Six Sigma vision and strategy, including continuous improvement in processes and systems to help deliver performance for the nation’s warfighters. Bergeron will also chair the enterprise Six Sigma council and assigned sub teams.

Before joining Raytheon in 2006. Bergeron held positions of increasing responsibility in General Electric’s field service, quality and operations organizations.
