Capgemini’s Jose Garcia Joins TechAmerica Advisory Board

Joe Moye, Capgemini

Capgemini Government Solutions Vice President of State and Local Government Jose Garcia has joined TechAmerica’s State and Local Government advisory board.

Garcia will lend his public-sector experience to TechAmerica, particularly in areas related to state and local government. He will help the organization advance its business and policy priorities it advocates on behalf of its member companies.

TechAmerica is the U.S. technology community’s largest advocacy organization with 1,200 member companies from the public and commercial sectors.  The SLG advisory board was established to provide guidance on the changing conditions of the SLG marketplace, as well as the association’s program offerings, planned events and policy positions.

Joe Moye, chief executive officer at Capgemini Government Solutions, said his company has seen “tremendous growth” in the state and local government space under Garcia’s leadership.

“Capgemini is dedicated to providing government agencies with the resources and knowledge to overcome the ever-changing challenges of today’s public-sector arena, and we know that Jose’s work with TechAmerica will only reinforce this commitment,” he added.
