The Centers for Disease Control has awarded CIBER a multiaward, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to improve its information management services program, the company announced today.

The award calls for help-desk services, network and data center operations, and hardware and software support for the government agency. CIBER has worked with CDC in various projects for more than 20 years, developing an emergency alert system, the CDC Alerting Service, and a collaboration portal, CDC Team.

“CIBER is pleased to be one of a handful selected for this contract,” said CIBER Federal President Marcia Kim. “This is a real testimony to our ability to be competitive in today’s federal healthcare marketplace.”
