General Dynamics Information Technology Wins Part of FBI’s Largest-Ever IT Deal

General Dynamics Information Technology has been selected by the FBI as one of 46 awardees of the Information Technology Supplies and Support Services contract valued $30 billion over eight years if all options are exercised.

General Dynamics will provide technical services for the FBI’s multiple information technology systems and engage in developmental projects and programs.

“General Dynamics has a strong record of supporting the FBI with enterprise operations center and field support,” said Marcus Collier, senior vice president for General Dynamics Information Technology’s Civilian and Homeland Security Solutions division. “IT systems play a key role in supporting the FBI’s national security responsibilities and General Dynamics is committed to providing the FBI with the infrastructure support, systems and equipment that enhance its capabilities.”

Ivan Abbott, vice president and general manager of the Civilian Solutions sector at General Dynamics Information Technology, said:

“This centralized contract vehicle streamlines access to the IT support services needed by the FBI’s globally dispersed workforce. Mission requirements rely on dependable, efficient and rapid communications systems and IT networks to disseminate intelligence, collaborate with key partners, perform research and analysis, warehouse evidence and critical information, investigate threats and conduct operations.”
