HP Enterprise Services’ U.S. Public Sector Center for Enabling Client Excellent is now a Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 5 rating, according to the Software Engineering Institute. Level 5 is the highest possible rating; this is the third time CECE has received the honor.

The award measures process integration in terms of software and systems, meaning HP has maximized performance and minimized risk for its clients. As CMMI maturity-level ratings are often necessary to bid on government contracts, the rating should improve HP’s profile in the contracting.

“Our government customers require reliable technology solutions that enable their missions,” said Dennis Stolkey, senior vice president of HP U.S. Public Sector. “The CMMI Level 5 rating recognizes HP’s ability to predict project performance, provide higher levels of service delivery, streamline processes and reduce risk – all to ensure client expectations are successfully met.”
