Northrop Grumman has partnered with the Educational Testing Service to add ETS-designed assessment questions to its Horizon Assessment System, the company announced this week.

Horizon is a web-based platform designed to help students and teachers collect and analyze student performance. It is currently being using in many Washington, D.C.-area school districts, including Fairfax County, Prince William Public Schools in Manassas, Va., and Shenandoah County Public Schools in Woodstock, Va.

“The demonstrated expertise of Educational Testing Service will strengthen the Horizon educational assessment technology, further support increasing student achievement and expand opportunities for individual success,” said Catherine Kuenzel, vice president of federal mission programs for Northrop Grumman’s Civil Systems division.
