ECS Hires George Wilson as New VP

George Wilson

Electronic Consulting Services, Inc announced last week the addition of George Wilson as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.

“I am excited to join Roy and all members of the ECS team,” Wilson said. “I am impressed by their team quality, the strength of their infrastructure and the commitment to their employees and the customers they serve.”

Wilson has served the federal marketplace for more than 20 years at the executive and director level. His work at Stanley Inc. took the $2 million, 20 employee company public, raising its annual revenue to $900 million and employing nearly 6,000 workers.

At Stanley, Wilson’s team handled customer relations, business growth, corporate development, strategic investments and overall company strategy. He served on Stanley’s board as president, supervised key acquisitions and led the company’s strategic operations until its sale to CGI in 2010. Wilson also serves on the Brain Injury Services board of directors and is chairman of the National Kidney Foundation 2011 Kidney Ball.

“The entire team is excited to have George join ECS,” said Roy Kapani, ECS president and CEO. “I have known George for over 15 years and witnessed his accomplishments at Stanley. His experience, knowledge and leadership will help drive ECS to the next level and help us reach our strategic milestones for growth, quality, customer satisfaction and employee development.”
