Like the idea of working remotely? Not enough caffeine in the world to entice you to spend all day at your local café? Fear distractions at home will make for missed deadlines? Irving Burton Associates, a provider of telework services, has the perfect solution.

IBA’s Frederick Telework Center offers all the amenities of an office without the traffic hassles. The facility is complete with computers, cubicles, conference rooms and coffee makers. IBA’s telework centers are used by private, public, and federal organizations.

In the wake of commutergeddon, and in celebration of National Telework Week, IBA is offering federal employees free access to the Frederick Telework Center in February.

“Telework or telecommuting is a winning solution for employees, agencies and the environment,” said Tonita Hickey, manager of the Frederick Telework Center. “In observance of National Telework Week, we are pleased to offer this special promotion of free access to our telework facility in Frederick, Md. I encourage you to come out and try our great facility. This is an ideal opportunity to experience telework for yourself at no cost and to make a pledge to support telework alternatives in the Frederick community.”

While commuting to a telework center may not save you from some traffic woes, it will save you gas and time, which not only benefits you, but the environment as well. Studies have shown telework also increases morale and productivity.

And you can probably stay in your bunny slippers. It’s a win win.
