Adrian Pickering Joins Juniper Networks as VP, Middle East and Africa Region

Juniper Networks has appointed Adrian Pickering to the role of area vice president, Middle East and Africa. Pickering’s new position will require him to drive sales and operations across the Middle East and Africa region for service provider and enterprise markets. He will report to Sean Dolan, senior vice president, EMEA.

Pickering said Juniper’s increased devotion to job training and local channel partners has resulted in stronger sales, support and headcount in the region, making it a pivotal time for him to join the company.

“I am very pleased that Adrian has joined Juniper Networks to spearhead our continued growth in this significant emerging market,” Dolan said. “Juniper’s relevance to high-performance enterprises and service providers in the region has grown rapidly, with our portfolio of innovative technology to help solve networking challenges while delivering lower total cost of ownership. Adrian’s leadership will further our momentum and provide strategic senior counsel for our customers.”

Pickering joins Juniper Networks from Cisco Systems, where he worked for many years and most recently served as a senior director in the emerging markets East team. He will conduct his business based in Dubai.
