Consulting services provider ICF International has appointed Dr. Lynda C. Davis, former deputy undersecretary of defense for military community and family policy and former deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for manpower and personnel policy, to the position of senior vice president for defense and intelligence. She will also serve as the new head of ICF’s companywide service member, veteran and family initiative.
In her new role, Davis will lead ICF’s work supporting the Defense Department, Veterans Affairs and other agencies with the goal of providing continuous support for military members and their families before, during and after service.
“We are very pleased to add Dr. Davis’ nationally recognized commitment and expertise to our team,” said Don Zimmerman, executive vice president for ICF International. “She is a compassionate connector whose proven, results-oriented leadership in the government, academic, and nonprofit sectors will strengthen the readiness, resilience, recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration services our clients provide to military members, veterans and their families.”
Before joining ICF, Davis was an entrepreneur, serving as founder and CEO of SeeCareDo Institute. In this capacity, she developed “high-touch/hi-tech” public/private partnerships that deliver access to quality services and resources for wounded veterans, their families, caregivers and care providers. She also has experience in the local government and private sector initiating and implementing programs in the areas of education and training, homeland defense/security and criminal justice.
