Ideal Innovations Named among 100 Largest DC Companies

Ideal Innovations (I-3), Inc. has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal, earning a spot on the publication’s list of the 100 largest private companies in the Washington, D.C. area. This is the second year in a row the veteran-owned, biometric and forensic services company has earned this distinction.

I-3 is ranked on the list as the 71st largest private company in the D.C. region, raking in $86.7 million in revenue in 2010. Seventy-six percent of companies in the top 25 experienced revenue growth in 2010, suggesting that the private sector is on the road to recovery.

“I-3’s growth is due to our superior technical expertise and our ability to address unique challenges in the defense and security sectors,” said Bob Kocher, president and CEO of Ideal Innovations. “The team looks forward to embracing new opportunities in the fields of biometrics and forensics as we continue to build on our innovative spirit.”

The issue of the Washington Business Journal recognizing I-3 is available on newsstands this week.
