CH2M Hill Wins $333.4 Million Energy Department Deal

The U.S. Energy Department has chosen CH2M Hill-B&W West Valley of Engelwood, Colo., for a contract to perform phase one decommissioning and facility disposition activities at the West Valley Demonstration Project in West Valley, N.Y.

MetroWNY reports the Phase One Decommissioning and Facility Disposition Contract, awarded June 29, includes cost and schedule incentives and will be a continuation of work currently being performed under the interim end state contract, with the 60-day transition period having begun July 1.

CH2M Hill-B&W West Valley will provide services including site operations, facility disposition and waste tank farm and NRC-licensed disposal area management. The contract is valued at $333.4 million.
