Northrop Grumman Technical Services Receives Hawkeye Contract Modification from U.S. Army

Northrop Grumman Technical Services Incorporated has been awarded a contract modification from the U.S. Navy for the C-2, E-2, Advanced Hawkeye (E-2D), a deal worth more than $7 million.

George Seffers of Signal Scape reports the contract modification will involve manufacturing of parts, instrumentation and engineering support for the Hawkeye, in addition to platforms associated with airbone early warning equipment, rotor dome and vapor cycle system. Safety studies on various specialized, uniquely figured E-2 and C-2 aircraft and weapon systems maintenance engineering and logistics services will also be conducted.

The contracting activity is the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of Patuxent River, Md.
