Telcordia announced last week it was awarded the 2011 NGN Leadership Award by Technology Marketing Corporation for its Telcordia Service Director solution. This is the second consecutive year the Service Director has received this award presented by NGN Magazine.
“Service Director leverages Telcordia’s more than 20 years of experience in service assurance and is a proven tool for helping service providers maintain the overall quality of network services,” said Bill Wanke, president of operations solutions for Telcordia. “We are pleased to be recognized by NGN Magazine two years in a row, which is a testament to the product’s success and Telcordia’s goal of helping CSPs evolve their networks.”
According to Telcordia, Service Director helps communications service providers manage service quality through real-time detection and isolation of customer-impacting service events, so network, application or device related issues can be fixed before they affect the overall customer service experience.
Telcordia was recognized in the Network Technology category.
