Northrop Grumman Names Jack Dorsett VP of Cybersecurity/C4

Northrop Grumman announced today it has named Jack Dorsett vice president of cybersecurity/C4, a position effective immediately.

Dorsett’s new role will involve leading his team to develop and execute the cybersecurity and C4 elements of Northrop Grumman’s strategic business plan, managing corporatewide communication with a host of key officials ranging from the U.S. Government’s executive branch to nongovernment officials and congressional staff members. The purpose of this plan is to ensure support of of ongoing programs, marketing efforts and future corporate business ventures programs in the areas of cybersecurity and C4.

“We are delighted to have Jack Dorsett join our government relations leadership team,” Sid Ashworth, corporate vice president, government relations, said in a statement. “His extensive experience as U.S. Navy deputy chief of naval operations for information dominance and director of naval intelligence combined with his expertise in complex government intelligence and information systems and organizations will serve him well in his new role with the company.”

Dorsett retired with the rank of vice admiral after a 33-year career with the U.S. Navy prior to joining Northrop Grumman, having served as the U.S. Navy’s first deputy chief of naval operations for information dominance, navy chief information officer and director of intelligence. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University and his master’s degree from the Defense Intelligence College in addition to completing executive programs at Babson College; the University of California, Berkeley; and the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
