Pitney Bowes Plans Large Campaign to Promote New Business Offerings

Pitney Bowes has announced plans to launch a direct mail, radio and online campaign to promote its expansion into the customer communications management market. The company will send approximately 80,000 direct mail pieces to communication and marketing executives at healthcare, insurance and financial services companies beginning this month.

The mailings will go to CMOs and customer relationship management and corporate communications executives at companies within these three industries. Each piece will link with the company’s new website, http://www.personallypb.com/, where users have the option to view three separate videos on winning new customers, strengthening relationships and delivering essential communications. The mailing piece also contains a quick response code so recipients can access the website through mobile devices. Dan Kohn, vice president of corporate marketing at Pitney Bowes, says the healthcare, insurance and financial services industries were chosen due to their focus on integrating their communications capabilities.

Pitney Bowes will promote their new services via a series of 15-second teaser radio spots to air during morning and afternoon drive times which will also direct listeners to the website. The spots will begin to air in New York and Chicago later this month and later expand to 10 markets including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas and Los Angeles.
