Vivek Kundra, Former White House Chief Information Officer, to Speak at Dell World 2011.

Vivek Kundra, former White House Chief Information Officer, has been announced as the latest addition to the Dell World 2011 speaker lineup, joining a lineup including Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff and VMware CEO Paul Maritz.

Kundra, now a fellow at Harvard University, was the first CIO of the United States, appointed by President Obama. Michelle Bailey, research vice president for IDC’s Enterprise Platforms and Datacenter Trends, was also announced as a speaker at the upcoming event. Bailey is responsible for IDC’s Worldwide Datacenter Trends and Strategies research group, specializing in forecasting the adoption of mature and disruptive data center infrastructure and IT consulting.

Dell World 2011 will bring together subject matter experts and technology professionals to bring solutions to business issues such as securing the enterprise and measuring IT efficiency.
