CH2M Hill Acquires Halcrow for $192 Million; CEO Lee McIntire Comments

CH2M Hill has announced today it has agreed to acquire Halcrow for $192 million. The U.K. based engineering, planning, design and management service firm has 6,000 employees and is known for multiple projects including the U.K.’s Channel Tunnel Rail Link, China’s Chongzun Expressway and Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates.

CH2M Hill Chairman and CEO Lee McIntire said this acquisition is a game changer for the firm’s clients. “Our global footprint will be deeper and our bench strength will be even more robust,” he said. “By combining our resources and leveraging our collective technical know-how, we will set a new standard for the marketplace,” McIntire added.
