McAfee Names Jean-Claude Broido President of McAfee Japan

McAfee has today announced the appointment of Jean-Claude Broido as president of McAfee Japan who will be responsible for the company’s consumer and enterprise business. Broido has more than 30 years of experience in sales and market leadership in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Japan. He most recently served as senior vice president of International Sales at EMC’s Information Intelligence Group.

“With the explosive usage of an increasing number of personal Internet devices, such as smart phones and tablets, there is a growing need for extensive protection of both individuals and companies from numerous security threats,” said Broido. “I look forward to continue to expand McAfee Japan’s business, further strengthening relations with partners and helping the company grows as a highly trusted vendor.”

Prior to his position at EMC, Broido was executive vice president and general manager of EMEA for Documentum. He also worked in senior management positions in sales and marketing at Cadence Design Systems and Digital Equipment Corporation after starting his career at Intel Corporation.
