Pitney Bowes Releases Results of its 2010 Corporate Responsibility Report

Pitney Bowes Inc. released the results of its 2010 Corporate Responsibility Report today, providing updates on key aspects of its corporate responsibility programs.

The report covers program details, performance metrics and case studies that explore progress that the company has made in each of six categories-Business Practices, Environment, Diversity and Inclusion, People, Customers and Suppliers and Community.

Highlights of the report include the fact that the company achieved double-digit percentage improvement in global customer satisfaction and its grant making, focused on education and literacy, supported the enrichment of more than 30,000 public school students across the U.S. Its Management Services division also won the Supplier Excellence award from Eastman Chemical for achieving a service delivery level of 99% while delivering more than $720,000 in cost savings and process improvements, while employees logged more than 70,000 hours to community service to support their local communities.
