AMERICAN SYSTEMS Appoints James Scampavia as VP of Business Development; CEO William C. Hoover Comments

AMERICAN SYSTEMS announced today it had appointed James Scampavia vice president of business development. Scampavia will oversee business development efforts including identifying new customers, conducting capture strategies and developing winning proposals.

With more than 25 years of marketing and business development experience with the federal and local government, Scampavia has served at such companies as BAE Systems, L-3 Communications and STG. He also held senior positions with state and local entities.

“James will be an integral part of our leadership team, particularly in shaping our strategies across our business areas and integrating efforts across delivery and business development,” said William C. Hoover, AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ president and CEO.
